What to do with those extra HiViz Litepipes!?

I thought I'd share this with my fellow SD9\40 fans....

Sometime back I replaced the front sight on my SD9ve with a Hiziv sight and had extra litepipes. So I decided to tap out the factory plastic sight using the white dots as a guide and install the extra green pipes.

This is an easy DIY project. You will need a vice, 1/8 drill bit (I believe that was the size), 2 litepipes from Hiviz and a steady hand. Just be careful not to drill too fast and drill on the same angle as the original sight and not straight thru (see pic).

Clever. Did you add any adhesive or just press fit?

They seem tight - so I just pressed it into place with my thumb. I guess the real test will be at the range to see if recoil loosens the pipes.
