Default Doggone it...another one

Well, I made the mistake of stopping in to my main LGS at lunch time today, and nearly hidden in the back corner of the used hand gun case was a barely used SD9VE. after a quick look...home it came with me. Got it for just a hair over $200. So now I have 3 of these darned things...1 for each truck.

Good idea. In the unlikely event that you have one go down, you have a backup.

Also, if you go shooting with friends or curious beginners, you have guns to share.

Sometimes a deal is too good to pass up. At that price, you had to buy it. It's not your fault.

Yeah, I had to get it for that price. This LGS normally isn't the best priced on used handguns, but their used hand gun case is overflowing, so they dickered some...enough to get me to buy.

Exactly. Now...just need for someone like Grice Gun Shop to run another special on mags. As it stands right now, I have 4 for each gun.

Had just a few minutes to squeeze off a few rounds this morning. I was mostly checking for function having bought a used gun. I'll try to post a pick of my single target this morning. 22 rounds...1 mag of my reloaded range ammo, and just 6 rounds of my handloaded SD rounds (finished a box). Not my best by any means, but I was in and out from the range in 7-8 minutes.

Sounded like you were describing Shooters Of Columbus (Ga.), up until you got to the part about them being smart enough to negotiate a little in order to close the deal.

Sorry to Hijack, but I'm just over the river in Auburn - lmk if you ever want to meet somewhere to shoot. I've been meaning to hit East Alabama Gun Club sometime, mostly I shoot out of Tuskegee - the open range they have there (Uchee).

I recently purchased a SD9VE that I am enjoying, and took it on my first pistol training course last weekend up in Marietta, GA.

OP, congrats on the purchase - I am loving my pistol, and probably need some more mags... or an M&P Compact... or both... and some reloading gear... :-)

Cheers!

Island Boy
