SD9VE Slide
Kind of a newbee question, but I have looked everywhere and can not find any replacement slides for the SD9VE. If anyone has any idea where I could look to find one I'd appreciate it.

I’m going to be watching this post also! You can try gunbroker but every time I find an upper on there the bids usually get to almost what I paid for my SD9VE (I got a great deal on it).

Just out of curiosity, why do you need/want a new slide?

For me, I want to do some porting of the barrel and have a total of five openings machined in the SS (three each side and two on top) down by the front sight.

Cosmetic purposes. Currently have my slide cut into the Judge design and want another to cut into the Jigsaw; for which I can switch out at my own leisure.
Referencing the cuts: PRICING - JLMachining Works
You guys should take a look.

I haven't found much in the way of "replacement" parts for these pistols over the years of owning mine.
When I called S&W customer service, last year, they told me that the barrels and slides are "regulated" parts for them, and they do not sell replacements.
Also, as inexpensive as these line of pistols are, you probably would not pay much less for a slide or barrel, then if you were to purchase a new SD pistol. Plus you would have all the replacement parts. Just my opinion.

For what it's going to cost in the end you might be better off investing in either a Glock 34 MOS or M&P pro 5.25".

They make a M&P with a 5.25" barrel????
I have been looking at all the PC setups from S&W and I could only find a 5".
If they do, could you please reference the model #.
Thanks - Preston

From my understanding, every part on these guns are regulated, except for the springs and sights. My one regret about buying it.
