Default Apex trigger and springs

I decided to try out the apex trigger and spring kits on my sw40ve. I also got the sear spring from sigma trigger. I put it all in polished the sear while I was at re assembled. First dry fire no problem next one nothing. I rack the slide pull the trigger nothing. If I held the trigger it would be delayed and after a second or so it release the striker. I took it all apart double checked everything it was all good. So I start trying to eliminate things, trying different combos, changing some of the spings back to the original. I narrowed it down to the striker block spring. With the original spring back in it seems to be functioning like normal now. I'm assuming it was just not strong enough. Has anyone else had that problem? I have not had a chance to range test it yet but I have not been able to replicate the issue again while dry firing.
