ammo for sd9
is hornady critcal defense ftx 115 gr,. a good carry ammo for sd9 . is it considered +P ammo ?

Not +P; it's actually one of the softer-shooting defense loads.

"If it runs well in your pistol", Hornady Critical Defense is an excellent choice for civilian self-defense that offers quality and performance consistency.
It's not considered "+P", but that wouldn't worry me in the slightest. +P or +P+ on packaging has more to do with marketing-poop than it does with effective bullet performance.

Hornady CD is my carry ammo of choice. As with all things, however, you have to make sure it works in YOUR gun. I've always found it to be very reliable in anything I've had.
