A number of threads have pointed out it is hard to obtain parts for SD9/SD9VE pistols.

A quick look at Ebay today (23 July 2018) shows three barrels and four slides for SD9/SD9VE pistols for sale, as well as two trigger groups. I was surprised, but these are parts you cannot get from the usual guns-parts suppliers on the internet.

Obviously, someone is parting-out used SD9's, for whatever reason. The prices seem a little high but the law of supply and demand is in effect.

Not only are OEM parts difficult to find, try finding a SCHEMATIC of the weapon. One COULD use the SWVE but I'm unsure if similar parts have the same designation !!! This, IMHO, is just plain ODD !!! Also, I've never seen any gunsmithing books or videos on this pistol !!! I see quite a few (SD's)at my local range, so I'm pretty sure they're popular !!! Weird !!
