Pair of SW magazines marked 40 cal. What model auto pistol do they fit?

I'm at work now, so I can't go check the gun safe, but I believe those will work in a Sigma.

Those look like Sigma mags. They also work in the SD-VE series. The baseplate just looks a little weird.

CORRECT. But only for the States with limited capacity.
My SW40C runs on the large capacity ones.

I agree, the Sigma base plates were distinctive in appearance from all other S&W center fire pistols. I had a SW40F and the mag bottom looked like that.

Yep. I used to have an SD9VE and would buy Sigma mags in a pinch if I had to. I remember the front of the baseplate coming to a point. Worked just fine otherwise.
