Where would I find the date of MFG on my SW9VE?
Trying to find out how old my sigma is. I have the original box. It was my dads and is now mine. Is that the date there in the middle on the bottom?

I think the semi-auto labels must have been different from revolvers...
That said, does April 4, 1992 (or 2002) get close to just before your dad bought it?

Those numbers do not indicate your firearm's date of manufacture.
Your best bet is to contact S&W, give them your gun's Serial Number, and they'll e-mail you back in a couple days with the date.
That's what I did with my SIGMA.
