Default SD9VE Jamming

Hello all,

As I’m sure you all have seen this question come up a million times, but my Sd9 is jamming like crazy. I’ve shot it at the range a couple times with no issues. I clean and lube my baby as needed. I had it jam on me about every 4-5 rounds. I thought it was operator error but I’ve had it happen to 3 other ppl. Loading the mag is a little tough but it’s a breeze compared to other pistol mags. Am I looking at bad mags? Jamming occurs at all stages. Any insight And advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Welcome to the forum!

Getting an SD_VE to "jam" is quite an achievement.

What is nature of "jams"--feeding, chambering, extracting,
ejecting?

What type ammunition are you using?

How long have you been shooting?

Has a more experienced shooter fired your pistol,
with same malfunction(s)?

The Magazine Springs may still be too tight, so I recommend downloading the magazine by a couple of rounds, see if that helps.

As mentioned above, more info would be helpful. Failure to Feed, Failure to Eject, what exactly is happening? I have 2 SD9s and 2 SD40s and never had any issues. Help us out a little here :-)
