Sorry man, my main computer crashed Friday night. I was on the phone with HP for 7 hours 51 minutes trying to fix my LT. They sent me a USB drive to reload my LT. It didn't work. It's Friday night 12/10/2021 and l'm waiting on box to ship my HP LT back to HP. With the warranty l have on it, if they can't fix it, HP will send me a new LT.
I'm typing this on my phone. I cleaned my PM folders and can now again PM's.
HK, those grip tapes make your SD look awesome! And, they should help your grip much more! BTW, member BLACK TALON HTP (I hope l got his username cotrect) makes those grip tapes. I bought an extra set from him to apply to my SD40, but l sold it before applying them. He sent me the grips in the card and l was just passing them on to you HK. I sure am glad they worked out when you applied them.
What modifications have you have left to do to your SD? Did you install a wider takedown bar? Where do you currently stand on a trigger and spring selection?
Please keep us updated. You sure have a very nice SD gun!

I thought maybe something happened to you Wayne, You have always stopped bye the forum at least once a day but could have left the area for something.
All is good here BTW.
I did take my SD9 apart and smoothed out the part of the trigger bar that rubs as it returns & causes that Gritty feeling.
Plan on ordering the Galloway Trigger & the Wesbaun springs you recommended, Will be after Christmas maybe 1st of next month before I make the order..
I have seen some grip tape like that @ Home Depot in small Rolls, the grip isn't much thicker & gives a superior grip to the gun + Looks Good Too!!
Thanks Again for the rubbery grips
Gary/Hk

I ordered a holster for the Sd9 & Glock 19X + have three high cap Glock 19X factory coyote magazines coming from Botach

Don't Know, It's a molded Nylon = Not Kydex
The other one I had was tough & comfy
The new one just arrived & haven't taken it down to the Man Cave Dungeon yet for test for Fit & Function
After my Meatloaf is done baking brother

If you're referring to the grip panels, they hold up great to anything you throw at them.

I couldn't tell if He was asking about the Grip Panels or the Nylon Holster

Holster could hold up to any gun solvent too

Grip Panels won't ever get anything like that put on them
Frame will get scrubbed out on the inside but never on the grip area

I applied the grips as per instructed = I heated the frame & the grip panels with a hair dryer & got them to go concave by putting them around a whiskey glass with a rubber band & heated them slightly to get them Cupped then applied which was easy then pressed them down good & heated again, I also wiped the frame with alcohol prep pads first & did get a small amount of dirt even though the gun is new & never handled much

Thanks again Ruger Nut & The SD9 is more rounded & points better IMO than the Glock 19X, It Just Does!!

It could be a better handgun & cost half as much = Amazing!

I bought an SD40 earlier this year at a pawn shop for $229. It came with the box, 3 mags, etc. It was the newer SD with the HI-VIZ sights. I sold it to a guy I have been selling firearms to for the last 8 years. I sold it to him for $345. I wish I had it back. But, there are more out there waiting to be in my collection.
The ammo I have in that mag is Hornady Critical Duty Flex Lock +P 135 gr. 9mm. I bought this back in 2016 before the FBI made it their carry ammo.
In my other 2 mags I have Winchester Ranger T-Series +P+ 127 gr. These are the same bullet as the old Black Talon bullets.
When they expand I call them The Flower Petal From Hell.
