I've used 9F magazines in a 9VE with no problem. Recently I purchased 2 Hi-cap 40F magazines from Midway and they won't seat (click) and lock into place in my 40VE.... any ideas?

Yep , I had the same problem with both 9 and 40 mags. What I did was to take the base off the mags and sand a little off the top of the base. There are two mold marks (circles) on the top front edges that I just removed to give enough clearance. The marks also help keep the sanding even side to side.

Ah hah, very interesting.... The floor plate on the F Sigmas is certainly thicker than the VE Sigmas. I thank you, pilot99. Now, to find that fine sandpaper...

Thanks, pilot99, it worked like a charm. Lightly sanded the plastic floor plates and now the mags snap into place with a loud click.
