funny you should ask this, I just got 3 in the mail today. They were on factory back order, so now is the time to order. 24212 You do understand that they don't add capacity to a 69 series mag don't you? They allow you to use this as a spacer on a 59 series mag so there is no gap between the butt of the 69 pistol, and the mag floorplate on the 59 series mag. If it is the early 14 rd 59 series, it is called a +2, but the later 5906 15 rd mags, it is a +3.

I haven't put mine on yet. You have to dissasemble the mag.

On a related note, I have a Keltec P-11 9mm that uses the S&W 9mm double stack form factor mag, although they hang down. If you order the the spacers for the 69 mag in a P-11 from KelTec, and do a wee bit of filing to the spacer, it should work too. Since it is just a slip on sleeve, it will slip on or off in about a second. So in my case, owning a 5906, a 6906 and the P-11, the sleeves may be the best and quickest option.

You want part no. 242120000 Grip Plus 2 ButtPlate if you want to order what Racer X explained.

the order must be called in, and they only need the 24212 part of the number. They will ship USPS in a padded envelope, so shipping is pretty cheap.

And the ones they sent me require you to have the metal floor plate early versions. I have one of them, and 2 of the newer plastic floor plate mags, and the spacers won't work with them. I need to contact S&W and do some follow-up.

Here is the early thread about these. 6906 Extended Mags It seems to indicate that they sometimes ship these with the metal floor plate, so you get 2 pieces when you order 24212. And there may be a variant that IS jjust a sleeve. Confusing as heck, and clear as mud.
