When shooting my 910 in the single action mode, there seems to be a lot of slack in the trigger. It goes almost all of the way back to the trigger guard before it discharges. I also have a 908, and it has a nice crisp break in it with just a little slack. Is this normal for the 910?
I don't know from your description if your 910 has a problem or if it's normal. I can say that both my 910S and my 410S have the best TDA triggers I have used. In my mind, TDA doesn't get better than this last iteration of the all metal TDA S&W pistol.
Shoot it some more and see if that doesn't take care of the issue. Could be both the gun and the shooter need some breaking in before the gee haw kicks in.
I have had this 910 for a few years now. The double action trigger is fine, just when shooting single action, the trigger travels almost all the way to the back of the trigger guard before firing. Also, I bought it used, but it is like new.
