Recent S&W 6906 Purchase

Not too long ago I purchased a used S&W 6906 rated in my opinion as excellent for $275. This week I finally went to the range and I am pleased to report that after firing Winchester ball ammo, not one jam. I am so pleased on this purchase.

Back in 1990 I purchased NIB a 6906 from a dealer. About 5 years ago I sold the gun. However, I painfully regretted that decision. But now, I am happy again.

Additionally I purchased a CS45 rated as Excellent for $350. I am waiting for the amendment forms to process. I cant wait to pick up that latest addition to the family!

Well just be prepared for a growing family. One day you will think, well a 3913 would compliment this 6906 well. Then it'l be a 5906. Then you will need a full size 45 like a 4506. Then a compact 45 like a 4516 or 457. Then then then......

It never ends. I am even toying with the idea of a new-in-the-box CS40! However, I may wind up selling my Kimber Ultra Carry II. bought it new back in early summer but it does not have the same appeal as my 3rd Generation S&W.

A 6906 in excellent condition for $275? You indeed did well. I love my 6906 and might be interested in a 5906 if I find one in good condition.

I really can't complain on the price paid for those guns! I obtained these deals basically through word of mouth and traveling to gun stores whenever I have a chance! After signing up with this thread board it looks as if I may be hooked in getting a S&W 4013. Oh well my wife likes to shop at the mall but I like to shop for guns & ammo!
