Default 39-2 Serial Number

I recently acquired a real nice 39-2 and wanted to know when it was made. It has an alloy frame with serial number A6945##.

It looks to be fired very little with just slight wear on the rails. Finish is near perfect, but the wood grips did have a few dings.

Thanks

1981, that would make it one of the later ones.
