Default 45XX Production Numbers

Does anyone have factory production numbers for the 45XX line of the 3rd generation pistols they can share?

I've checked SCSW and the information there is sparse to say the least.

I've seen, in a factory letter for a 1076 here in the forum, production numbers for the 10XX line of pistols and thought maybe Mr. Jinks put the same kind of information for the 45XX line in a S&W factory letter for a 45XX pistol.

Any one have a factory letter for a 45XX pistol they can check?

Thanks in advance.

They might come up with some of the discontinued model numbers like 4536, 4526, 4576, 4556, 4586 and 4546. But the 4566 and 4506 are still being produced although only in special orders. All the Sig-style decockers were only made '91-93, the 4556 and 4546 were very limited but getting actual production numbers from S&W is not easy.

I have a Roy Jinks letter on my 4576. It doesn't have all the break down of production numbers like on my letter for my 1076. It does mention, however, that only 1,389 4576 pistols were produced. Maybe that's why the one I bought a couple years ago remains the only one I've seen around.

The numbers for the 4556 are about 400 and the 4546 are about 500.
