Default Reloading for the 952

Hi Folks,
I did not want to highjack the 952 thread but it got me wondering how the reloaders are getting along with the 952's.
Does anyone have any reload info and results?
Thanks
Mike

I don't have the 952 but do use a 105gr. LSWC in my PPC9 and 3566. I use a lighter recoil spring in those guns and only shooting 50' and 25yds. I'm not sure how that load would do out at 50yds. I really haven't found a bad load for either gun.

Currently I'm using Bear Creek LSWC moly bullets, 124gr over 4.9gr of Unique with WSP and WW brass.

No hiccups, gun shoots fine, no jams or stacks. Nice low recoil, comfortable to shoot 25 yard paper.

Works for me anyway.

I would never try anyone's load until I verified that it is within the manufacture's brackets though. That's just silly.

I use 124 and 147 gr. jacketed bullets in my S&W 952 with WSF powder. I am away from home but you can find the data on the Hodgdon website for WSF.

Default Thanks

Howdy,
I have had a couple of 52's in years gone by. I was always able to get them to produce with reloads.
I couldn't imagine the 952 would be any different but I thought I would ask.
I have a 1911 in 9mm with a Kart bbl and it can be a little particular but it runs and shoots like I expect it to with a load it likes.
Thanks everyone.
Mike
