What are the basic differences between the Models 910-911-915...
Or, is there a site which outlines the differences.
Thanks

The 915 was the start of what S&W called their "Value Series", basicly a 5904 with the older sraight blade rear sight and came with one mag to keep the price down. The 411 was the same thing in .40s&w. When the AWB came out in '94 and limited capacity to 10 rounds they changed some machining to make it a little simpler to make, again to keep costs down. They're still a very good buy for a all medal gun.

There is a marked difference in machining quality betweenthe 3rd gen and the value lines , here are a couple of pics that show it
First the 4026 and then the 411 , the differences are noticable but both of these have been equally reliable .

Notice that the 411 uses the older 2nd gen type of sights , and the way the frame is machined above the triggerguard area .
