Default Model 39 no dash in nickel

Here is a scarce one you don't see everyday that I found a few weeks ago. An original nickel 39 no dash. Besides the long extractor, the nickel no dash 39's have the take down lever/slide release and safety/decocker finished in nickel versus the -2's which were blued. The proper "N" is under the left grip designating original nickel. I've only seen a few 39 no dashes in nickel over the past few years. I guess nickel wasn't all that popular in the late 50's and early 60's as they are not frequently encountered. I've never seen a pre-39 in original nickel, but I'm sure someone has one out there.

Really great looking! I have a 39-2 made in '81, just blue finish. My favorite gun.

That is a VERY beautiful model 39, and it's scarcity just adds to it's appeal!
