Default Article on 52s

Hello,
I have located another article on the 52s and its more on the history rather than the performance of the Gil Hebard Article, I have been sending people for the past so many years.
Just do a search for Shooting Times, Smith & Wesson's Model 52 .38 Master, although it has a photo of the 52-2 and its in satin Nickel, which I don't believe any were shipped that way, But I have one as well, Just wish it looked that good. Enjoy.

As mentioned in one of the comments of that article, the pic at the top of that article is a 952. They are very similar but that is definitely a 952. I'm with you, I don't think the 52s were ever anything but blue. However, on my 952-2 it does not say "model 952-2" on the right side. It just says 952-2 on the left side above the serial number but that's just a minor variation.

Default 52

Ah yes, I kept wondering why the rear sight was different, and the front sight was not the norm. The grips should have been a dead give away.
At least the article is on the 52s, and not 952s.
I would have been more than happy to send them a photo. But that 952 has great notoriety, and I'm sure there is an article or two floating around on them as well.
