I got a little ambitious today and completed pulled apart my 5906. I haven't tried yet but I am thinking that the reassembly could be a bugger. Anyone have a good resource with instructions or an online diagram in case I lose my way? I searched the ever resourceful youtube but couldn't find anything there. Thanks, Daniel.

I think Brownells has schematics on their web-site in the factory parts section.

Search Youtube for something like "Takedown Smith & Wesson Model 4506". There is a 3 part video, part 1 is field stripping, then parts 2 and 3 cover complete takedown. Should be the same as the 5906.
