Default Model 41 scope mount screw hole spacing

My new-to-me 1985 model 41 came with Buehler scope base and rings. The base is marked "C".
The barrel was obviously drilled and tapped for this base.

I bought a Weaver #62 base and the holes didn't line up.
I was able to drill correctly spaced holes in the Weaver base but I'm wondering what model I could use for an off-the-shelf base, knowing it's not a #62.

There are three holes. Furthermost two are 49.65mm apart,
Back to middle hole is 30.49mm.

Any ideas what this base was originally designed for, if not the 41?
Thanks.
-John
