Default 469 for a lady friend

Skider, I think $ 375 is a good price for you BUT! the wrong choice for her. The 469 has a thick grip that you can't get away from. I carried one as a LEO for years. I tried and couldn't find thinner grips. Have her hold the pistol and you'll see what I mean. The 469 has a staggered magazine as it holds 13 rounds. Consider a single stack magazine like a 908 S&W. Maybe you could ask your local dealer for his imput. Good luck

9MM ammo in my neck of the woods is at least $20.00 for box of 50. So yes I would say $375.00 for the 469,mags and 900 rounds of ammo is a "deal".

The gun would be a good range plinker and should fit her hand well. It still would make a good defense gun.

Buy it immediately I bought my 669 (same but stainless) for 275 with 2 10 rd mags I paid 25 for my 13 rd mag and 20 for my 15 rd (569) mag. And then you get 900 rds on top of that even at the walmart roundabout 10 bucks/50 rds that's $180 for ammo so the gun is now $195 I'd say that's you win. My wife has small hands and shoots mine well. I carry it every day.

I agree. Unless she has man hands she will not have much control. And these pistols are on gunbroker all the time. I would think $300 would be more what I would call a "deal."

They are on Gunbroker all the time but I've never seen one priced like that with 900 rounds of ammo included--buy it--it's a great deal.

Smart move. I love my 469, one of the more accurate semi-auto's I own. With the ammo included, it is a smoking deal. If it's too big for her you can keep it for yourself or sell the gun or ammo and get her something else. you are money ahead.
