Default higher capacity 4006 mags?

Did anyone ever make any that held more than 11? MecGar only makes extra capacity mags for the 59 series metal pistols.

None that I ever heard of , oh BTW if you come across some supposedly extra capacity ones for the 4XXX series I'd advoid them if they are made by companies by the names of Triple K , USA or Eagle

Gotcha. I ask because I saw some early production S&W double stack 9mm 25 rounders somewhere, I think Auction Arms perhaps.

I'd only use genuine Smith or Mec-Gar.

Looks like they replaced the S&W floor plate with the +2 extension. That would make it a 13rd magazine.

I dont think that mag would fit a 4006 series pistol, looks more like a Sigma type.
EDIT - IDK just looked at the link at midway, looks like a backwards 4006 mag, but their description lists all sigma model numbers.

Yeah, it was categorized under magazines for the 4006, but I'm not familiar with this model except that I'm looking at buying one, so I do not know much about it.

It might be possible to modify the lips on a 20-round 59 series magazine to work but I'm not sure.

I've used 5906 magazines in a 4006 before without a problem.

I just tried it with my Tactical .40 and a 20-rounder. The capacity is 14-15. It cycled fine w/o mods. I'd run some through at the range before relying on that set-up.

Yeah, I'm home sick with the crud so I'm bored.

Default Still 11 rounds.

No,
That is so you can use an 11 round mag in the "Shorty Forty", the stock is a 9 round.

They 59/5906 mags will fit in the 40 series - PC derived firearms, but not the standard 4003/4006
I just tried my standard 15 and 20 rounder's in my 40XX's series, No-Go

Did a little more investigation into why the 9 mm mags will not fit into my 4006 magazine-well.

The rear corners of the 59/5906 series magazines have a sharper corner radius on them,
the 4003/4006 are made with a larger radius to them.

The mag-wells also match their perspective magazines, so the 5906 mags interfere with the 4006 mag-well.

BM1
