1911 question
Does anyone make a short trigger for a 1911???

Look at Midway web site ,1911 trigger's they have some short mixed in with the long triggers . I see you have caught the 1911 bug ,it probably wont stop with 1. Next it will be a set of nice grips then an extended safety ,It never stops.

The shot answer is that lots of people make them. I would suggest Brownells. They have alarge selection of 1911 parts. You might find them refered to as standard length.
Probably more replacement long triggers are sold though and many 1911s now come with the long trigger.

Sir, they're pretty easy to find at gun shows. Most people replace them with long triggers, so lots of short ones are available in "barely used" condition.
Be aware that a GI trigger will not necessarily drop into a commercial 1911. I have one that wouldn't work in my commercial Colt.
