Default Bad Mistake

I made a bad mistake today and went to my local gun store. This M&P .40 kept following me around and I couldn't resist.
So I brought it home with me. Was planning on buying a Sigma with the deal they have now with the $50 rebate/Extra Mags. Guy was sold out of them and said the new price was $359 so I caved in and bought the M&P. I have a Springfield XD40 Service model and it doesn't feel as good in my hands as the M&P does.

I hearby officially reprimand you and place you double secret probation until you shoot 100 rounds through it.

Your mistake will become apparent to you when you realize how much more an M&P eats than the Sigma. Enjoy your M&P, if I ever get another striker fired pistol, it will be an M&P (just to keep my SW99 company).

After seeing all the **** on Sigmas on this forum, I wouldn't use one for a doorstop. The M&P is the way to go!

I never had any problems with my Sigma's and I think they are the greatest bargain on the market today especially with the rebate/mag deal. Can't wait to shoot my M&P!!!!!

I'd say my M&P40 feels better in my hand than any pistol I've ever shot. It figures, now a couple of months after I get my M&P40 and M&P40c that S&W does the free mag thing. I could use some more!

My doorstop hits the target every time!

Or, maybe it's just me!

So, what was the price? The $359 was for the Sigma, right?

Yep the Sigma was $359 for the chrome slide and $389 for a black slide. He did not have any in stock so I bought my fullsize MP40 for $525 OTD.

Sounds like a great price...is there a "concealable" version of that pistol? The ones I've seen are the full-size cop-carry guns; probably not concealable unless it's under a winter coat or something.

Anyway the cops in Detroit use that handgun...the ones I've talked to really like it.

I'll bet they honor the rebate even though you purchased a few days early. Can't hurt to try. I got two free mags with my Sigma purchase. A few days later they started a free range bag deal also. I re-submitted everything and got the range bag too!

All the Best,
D. White
