Looking for a DOB on a 3953 No. VAL 65XX. Cannot find it in the Book. Any help is Welcome, Thanks.

The last listing of SN's on page 401 of the S&W Catalog shows UAMXXXX as 1997 then VHN as 1998...I'm guessing a VAL prefix comes right in between those years...
