Question mag followers

I have 2 mags that have black and three that have orange. What does this mean?
Also, one of my hi-cap mags shows 15 rds. on one side and the other says 14. Answers please for an old man. I am talking about witness holes

the 14 rd mag is an older 59, or x59 series mag. The newest ones hold 15 rds. Just change the follower to a 5906 orange follower from S&W and gain an extra rd capacity.
