Are 5906 & 6906 Magazines interchangeable, I'm trying to find 3 of the 15 rd. S&W SS with the orange followers but need to know if the 6906 will also work.

You can use a 5906 mag in a 6906, but not the other way around. The 6906 mags are too short for a full size 5900 series. CDNN is a good place to buy mags.

MecGar brand mags in the 15 rd S&W model will be about $12 less than a S&W branded mag. Just as good. MecGar also makes 17 rd flush fit versions as well 20 rd extended ones. MecGar is an OEM for many of the manufacturers. Check CDNN Sports Smith & Wesson Mags
