Default CS9 Concealed Carry Holster Reco?

I've had a CS9 for about 10 years and am finally getting around to getting my CCL in Kansas. Anyone know of and use a great holster? Thanks!

Hi and welcome to the forum.I use a Gould and Goodrich belt holster and a Fobus Paddle holster for concealed carry. The G+G is simple and very comfortable and the Fobus is very sturdy and secure.Either one is a winner....Mike

I use a Don Hume JIT holster for my CS9. It's fairly small, holds the gun in tight, is reasonably priced, and is usually in stock.

If you want a custom made one, and don't mind spending about $100, and waiting a couple months for it. You may want to check out Milt Sparks and Andrews Leather.

Because of the CS9's blocky slide shape, (much more than the regular 3rd Gen pistols) I've found the CS9 will fit in holsters made for the Glock 26/27 quite well. I have a Bladetech kydex IWB holster made for a G27 that fits my CS9 great. Only had to hit the area around the safety with a heatgun for a perfect fit.
For leather, you need to check out Jim Murnak's wonderful products at FIST.

HOLSTERS

Here is a good basic IWB model with a steel clip which actually works great:

FIST, INC.

He's raised his prices around 30% since I last ordered, but it's still a bargain when you consider how many custom options you get. You get to choose from 8 colors, (I like the dark red, it almost looks purple! Cool) and you can add options to any holster like changing the cant etc. The leather is really nice heavyweight stuff too. Another great thing about Jim is that if you have an idea for a holster or a crazy mod you'd like made, he'll probably do it for you. He made me a tuckable IWB magazine holder once out of his thin kydex so you couldn't see my spare mag on my belt. It's not an item in his catalog, I just asked him if he could do it and he said, sure, no problem. Only charged me a few bucks over the normal mag pouch fee too.

Do yourself a favor and check out his work, he has a lot of innovative holster ideas. I think he's the next Ken Null.

Let's see. . . the most often turned to holster I use for one of my CS9s is an Alter Ego from High Noon Holsters. It's not the prettiest, but it does what I need and it does it quite well.
Alter Ego

Anyway, here are my guns and the leather that carries them:

These two CS9s (one DAO and one DA/SA) are sweet!

The High Noon Alter Ego (an IWB) is used most often with these two guns -- though I think I'll be using the Fusion Paddle a bit more in the next month, too!

Wild Bill's Concealment Fusion Paddle slips over my Beltman belt easily and holds the gun remarkably well to the body for an OWB paddle holster

I recently picked up this Lobo Gunleather Model 1-SL with a thumb break for my 3913 . . . but it does a sweet job too for a CS9! I've use it when carrying a CS9 open carry, and I appreciate the additional safety the thumb break provides.

Finally, I use a Don Hume H760 ankle holster (typically wearing somewhat baggy pants) when I need to have a deep concealment.

Finally, in the "family picture" you will see a single mag carrier from Wild Bill's Concealment and a dual mag carrier in black from Akers.

My CS9 rides in the same holster as my 3913 although not at the same time! I use a Kramer #3 IWB from kramerleather.com in Tacoma. Might work well for you also.
