Default Model 41 short only

I found a model 41 short only that is NIB with all the goodies. What are these things going for now days? The guy wants $1900 for it.

Probably correct value as a collector item but I would not shoot it. Several years ago the ISSF changed the rules for the International Rapid Fire course to use 22LR ammo. Since that time the 22 Short pistols are a drug on the market. For shooting you could purchase an excellent Walther OSP or Pardini in 22 Short for ca. half that price.

I agree with this statement.For an advanced collection for somethin' you gotta have,I guess that would be the right neighborhood.I do have a fascination with all sorts of .22 short caliber guns,but that's a lot of bread and I have plenty of fun with a standard 41.
