Changing trigger on 1911 Pro Compact 45
I want to swap out the stock trigger on my new 1911 Pro 45 compact.
Is it the same trigger as any 1911?
This the one I wanted to use.
I suppose I should disassemble the gun and measure it but I thought I would ask.

Yes, same trigger... you are aware their
may
be some "fitting" involved right?

Thanks Shovel
Yes I am aware of fitting. I have done several trigger jobs on 1911's over the years.
I don't like the vertical slop in the stock S&W trigger nor the scratches forming on the aluminum surface. The is a bit of creep too, but not much.
Never worked on a commander or officers model, only full size 1911's.
TY again
