So tomorrow I am picking up a almost NIB 639 w/box and tools and 3 mags. I plan on shooting it maybe even carry it it has the adjustable sights. I hope to have photos by tomorrow night.

I don't have a 2nd gen gun but many 3rd gens an two 39-2's. The 39's are fantastic guns and very consistent and easy to group well. I'm sure you'll love your 639...pics when it arrives and congrats.

A 639 is way up near the top of my want list. They are gorgeious guns. Congratulations on finding and acquiring yours.
I thought I'd found mine a couple of months ago but someone had bubbadized the finish by putting it on some kind of polishing wheel. They even got into the matte finish on the top strap. Couldn't live with that.
