Broken 1911 Parts

All I have been able to find, so far, are two happenings; a hammer and a thumb safety.

What part(s) have you experienced braking on your S&W 1911?

I guess I am trying to identify a trend for any particular part(s) that are prone to breaking on the Smith.

Which model do you have and how old is it? How many rounds you got thru it?

My model 1911Sc is from 2004 with an unkown round count (I'm the third owner) but it's in perfect shape. No broken parts to speak of.

No particular 1911, just in general, as most will use the same internal parts. However, mine are 108282s.

I have seen no trends with parts breakage on S&W 1911 pistols. As a matter of fact parts breakage on a S&W 1911 is pretty unusual.
