Bodyguard 380 Laser Hex Wrench
Does anyone know the size of the hex wrench that is included with the gun/laser? The one I received is so thin that it is warped and feels like it could snap at any moment when I use it.

It's darn small, that's for sure. Maybe someone with a micrometer can post the measurement. That would be useful info for all of us new owners of the BG 380.

If it is a CT laser they will send you a new one if you contact them. The wrench that came with my CT grips was .28.

.28 (9/32") is larger than .25 which is 1/4 of an inch. Are you sure it wasn't .028? Anyway, I think you're wrong as mine measured .035" (1/32").

So I shot Insight an email letting them know the wrench that came with the Insight laser on the S&W Bodyguard 380 was warped. 3 days later I received a new wrench in the mail. That was unexpected. Great service!
The description of the wrench on the shipping invoice states it is a 'Hex Key .035 S&W'.

I know this is an older thread, but I wanted to update it based on my findings. I looked forever to find a better allen wrench for the 380 bg. I keep losing the small allen wrench, and my fat fingers make it damn near impossible to use. I ended up buying one from edsracingproducts online. .035 x 60mm. It kind of looks like a screwdriver. Part # EDS-110236.
This thing works great. It's easy to hold and makes changing the batteries or adjusting the laser a breeze. It was a little pricey, $15.00 shipped, but I guess you get what you pay for. I'm not trying to be a salesman for the company, just something I found and wanted to share with other 380bg owners.

Could have looked at McMASTER CARR. They have the wrench with handle for much less than that.
Here
Anyways, S&W could not have picked up a more convenient place to put that screw. If not tightened up properly it will back out. the wrench provided just screams when tightening that screw.

Laser Tool
A little late to this party but here's what I found and purchased since I misplaced my adjusting tool. S&W did send me two in the mail as a courtesy, which was very nice of them. I then found this tool from a company that makes tools for Radio Control car racing. It was $9.95 and you can replace the tip. The top of the handle comes off to store the tip in and shorten the package, it's a really nice tool. It is .035"

The laser adjustment screw on both Bodyguards use a .035" hex wrench. The laser module anchor screw on the BG38 uses a .050" hex wrench. Until recently, the BG380 laser anchor screw used the same .035" wrench used for laser adjustment, but the 380's anchor screw was recently (September 2012) changed to the .050" wrench.

My box is missing the wrench
I have the same question. The wrench in my box does not fit the height adjustment of my Laser. I watched a YouTube video review of my .380 Bodyguard, and it was supposed to come with two wrenches. I need to know the size I need and where to find the wrench. All I know is that I need the smaller wrench.

I called S&W and they sent a few wrenches in the mail no-charge. If you didn't get any wrenches with your gun I'd call S&W.
