Need price on 4566 asap.
I'm a guy from the revolver side and know little about semi-autos.
I have the chance to buy. What is a good price to pay for a 4566 with three mags and case? Are they good autos?
Thanks I need an answer soon.

NIB 4566 around $500. 4566TSW will do a little more.
Used, in good condition $375 to $450.
LEO trades........those are all around $300 to $400.
Great pistol the 4566. One of my favorite handguns, and I'm a revolver guy too! Regards 18DAI.

Agree with those prices. In general a standard 4566 375-400, and a TSW model maybe 400-450 depending on condition and accessories. Mags are around $30 each and they typically come with two from the factory. They are great guns. Many will come with night sights, but they may be so dim you may not be able to tell it.

I bought a 4566TSW on GB with box and two mags for under $450 including shipping. Gun isn't new, but in very nice shape. If this gun is a TSW in "as new" condition, it's probably worth $500. If not, I'd look a little further.

I just paid $902 for a "new" 4566 TSW with 3 mag's. That included the box, lock, tax, license and transfer fee in the United Soviet Socialist Republic of California. I pick it up tomorrow.

18DAI is spot on with his pricing. I've been very satisfied with mine - and experienced no malfunctions in 3 years of shooting it. It's just like my other 3rd gen S&Ws - accurate and boringly reliable.
Good Luck,
Jerry

I went $625 on one of the Melonited 4566's.
It was from a US Marshal fugitive task force order......supposedly.
The LEO order 4566's will come with three mags.....and usually have Novak night sights too, but not always.
Alot of the later production 4566's have the spring loaded decock only feature as well. If your buying online the visual cue for this feature is the laser etched warning on the right side of the slide, and the lack of red paint in the dots. Regards 18DAI.

Wouldn't be cheaper to move to another state?
CDNN Sports has 4566s for $389 in VG-2-excel condition. LEO trade-ins, bobbed hammers, one mag. Mine with extra new mag and shp/ffl fees came to @$450.
Feeds anything, even reloads my Glock stumbles on. It had the typical trigger "click" that most pistols in the 45xx series develop. A minor tweak of the trigger play spring took two minutes to fix it. Great gun, I just need to shoot it better.
