Question 4006 Question?

Hate to ask this as I know I need to buy the book but can anyone give me some information on a serial number and special order code. The serial # is TFH04xx and the special order code # is 0192. I know what the weapon is. What I would like to know is what is the manufacture date and what does the special order code indicate? Thinking about buying and I'm doing my homework.
Thanks in advance,

In most cases the special order code is the julian date the gun was shipped. I usually use this Forest Service site ("ORDINAL DATE AND GMT") to decode the last three digits of the julian date. Basically your 4006 was made (it could be 1990 or 2000, but by serial number prefix of TFH, it is 1990) on the 192nd day of 1990.
Enjoy your 4006, they are easily one of the toughest and most reliable pistols out there.

My 4006 is as heavy as my Colt 1911A1, but fun to shoot. Enjoy yours.
