S&W Serial Numbers
Anyone know where I can trace S&W serial numbers to find out age?

Check out the Standard Catelog of S&W 3rd edition or one later on the shelf of any bookseller such as Barnes and Noble or Borders or something similar

And if it is new enough (three letter prefix serial number), you can always call S&W Customer Service and they can tell you the date.

Hi guy's, been gone for a while need the date of my S&W 66-2 serial number AHW27xx. Any help would great.
