Delrin grips for Model 669
Looking at a Model 669 but it has pacmeyer grips instead of the "book" grips that are listed as Delrin. Does anyone know where they can be purchased? and potential coat?
Appreciate any help.

Call S&W Factory customer support 1-800-331-0852 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, Monday - Friday
to order grips.
Numerich Arms has them for $25.60 + s&h.

Or post a WTB on the Want ads on the S&W Forum here.
You can also try ebay, CDNN, Midway, Gunbroker, etc....

KY Imports had some a year ago or so and they were cheaper.

Smith & Wesson has factory replacement grips that are checkered with the S&W logo, they're about $25. However, the 669 originally came with pebble textured grips. They're not currently available, unless you just luck out and find some around someplace.
Good luck,

Okay, here's photo of my 669 with the three grips I have for it. Pictured in the upper left are the original pebble surfaced grips that came on the pistol. The pistol currently wears the S&W factory replacement grips with checkered surface and S&W logo (I got these directly from S&W a little over a year ago). In the lower left is a the Pachmayr wrap-around grip that was so popular when the 669 was still offered. HTH

Uncle Mike's Rubber Grips are also nice for the 469/669's.
Here is a picture of them on my 469's.

Thanks to everyone. I bought the new grips from S & W and they fit perfectly. Think that I will keep the pachmeyers just in case.

I just got Pachmayrs for my 469 on ebay. 10 bucks total. Try there. Just search pachmayr. You could try gunbroker.com to I suppose.

I've had the Pachmayr's on my 669 for years. Do either the S&W delrin grips or the Uncle Mike's give a slimmer feel than the Pachmayr's? I've always felt that the 669 grip was just a little too "fat" and the original S&W grip always wanted to slide out of my hand.
And are the S&W "nylon" grips listed listed at Brownell's the same as the S&W "delrin" grips?
Ed
EDIT - I think my question is being answered in the concurrent "Pachmayr Grips for 469" thread.

They are definitely slimmer.

586L-Frame,
Thanks for the heads-up. Put the Uncle Mike's grips on my 669 and it is much improved. Looks better too.
