For those that have both, which is better? Weight, length, feel?

I feel the LCP has a better feel in the trigger.

They both seem to have the same amount of trigger pull but when the LCP as fired I didn't have to reset the trigger by going all the way out and re-pulling it.

But the overall feel if the gun. the Bodyguard has my vote

The Bodyguard has a slightly longer trigger pull but it is very smooth. The Bodyguard is much more comfortable to shoot than the LCP, especially during extended range sessions.

I can shoot the BG380 a lot longer than the LCP

Same here. The BG is a tad longer but mine has a cleaner break than my LCP and just fits my hand better, therefore that's my preference. My wife who has obviously much smaller hands prefers the LCP.

I don't really mind either one, once you get used to the length and break.

Just ran 150 rounds through my new BG today...seemed that it was more comfortable than my LCP for that many rounds at one session (Just hope it stays together)

I bought my wife a BG .380. The trigger pull was so heavy (12 lbs) and long she could not use it safely.

I replaced the BG with a Ruger LCP which is marginally better for her though both have heavy trigger and long pulls.

I found that after a great deal of dry fire practice (with snap caps) and some range time, the BG .380 works well for me. I can get consistent head shot at 36'

I would love to try the BG .380 trigger mod, but at 1/3 the price of the gun it is a bit much for me.

Everyone should bear in mind that a couple years back the LCP trigger pull was improved to be shorter; Ruger increased the pre-set of the hammer.

So, you might mention the build year of the LCP you're discussing.

FWIW, I preferred the trigger of even my old (long pull) LCP to my friend's Bodyguard - I perceived the Ruger was less spongy on the release. We both shot my Ruger better.

And my newer (short pull) LCP has a much better trigger than my older one. Better sights, too.
