Default Rattling sd40 mags?

I bought an sd40 and whenever I put about 10 rounds in the mags they get really rattlely(sp). I haven't shot it yet because of work and school. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem with rattling mags and had a way to fix it. This is my first post and I would like to say thanks for having me. Any help would be really appreciative.

This is common with double stack mags, as the rounds shift from side to side in the tube. Try smacking the mags into the palm of your hand a couple of times, should help settle the loose round. You could also load them one rnd. short.
WELCOME to the forum! Be safe / shoot often / have fun.

There is no real fix as their is nothing really wrong. It is just the way it is. Took me a while to get used to that idea but it is what it is.

My glock magazines do not rattle...

I have noticed smith magazines though they work well, they do have idiosyncracies. single stack 39xx mags sometime strip off the next round part way so when you drop a loaded mag the round falls out of the magazine well.

SD magzines and some sigma ones rattle.

59xx magazines sometimes rattle.

I have not tried a M&P yet. If it rattles it won't conceal well if it gives off a distinct noise...

My M&P does not rattle at all.

I have experienced rattling mags from other manufacturers though. The sound is annoying, but not distinctive enough to effect concealability.
