Default Warranty Question

Hi folks. I'm new to the forum. Own a 642ct and a sigma among many others and am looking at buying a slightly used M&P 9c. I was wondering about the warranty. It states "original owner". If this is the case then does this mean the used one will not be covered at all? Anyone had any experience with this?

Thanks

What CJ said.
Smith and Wesson has excellent customer service. If you call them with a problem they will ask you to send in the firearm and they'll check it out for you. They usually don't ask if you are the original owner nor do they even care. They just want their customers to be happy and their products to function properly.

If you search the forum you will find that some of us that have bought used S&W guns have be told by S&W that they are NOT covered when repairs were needed.
If S&W knows the gun was not originaly yours they will not cover it.

Mine was a police trade in (orininaly registered to the police department) that is now nothing more then an expensive paper weight. I have read on this forum about others also others having cracked frames and S&W said NO to warranty repair.

If you are fine with "hoping" you can decieve their CS then go for it.
