Default New to me 39 no dash

Have had this on my list for awhile, and finally got one. Also came with three original magazines. Heading out to the range later to check it out.

I tied this question on to the end of another thread, but haven't seen a reply...are there any physical restrictions from putting a slide from a 39-2 on this frame?

The only change from the the 39 slide to the 39-2 was substituting a a narrower extractor powered by a spring for the original wide spring extractor. There should be no problems with switching slides. The earlier extractors had some occasional issues. No further changes were made beyond the 39-2. A slide from the Model 59 will also fit - they were identical to those on the 39.

Range day was good...half dollar size groupings at about 20yds, 115gr fmj.

Sights dialed right in, which was a pleasant surprise. Shots went where expected.
