Convince me please
Ive had my 5906 for a while now. It's a sweet gun, it has a flat grey cerakote with stainless mag release, safety, sight ears, etc. love to shoot it because it's ridiculous accurate and no kick. I have 4 9mm including this one. I just want something different in a different caliber since I will be getting into reloading pretty soon.
Convince me to keep it and not trade her away because I know I'll regret not keeping it.

You have already listed all the reasons to NOT trade off this fabulous firearm.....logic for me would suggest finding a 4006 & 4506 to add to the herd!!

You say you have four 9 mm's, so sell or trade the other three and keep the 5906 which is one of the best 9 mm's ever made. Best of luck and hope it works out for you.

Convince YOU?!
I say you sell it.
That will do the deed. You'll regret it for the rest of your days and if -THAT- doesn't teach you, no forum posts have a prayer at it.
If you are going to sell one of the nameless other 9mm's you have instead, I recommend you dump the soulless plastic first.

Even if the other three are 5906's, keep it. I only have five of them. Still not enough to make me sell ONE....

OK, do what you want to or have to with the 5906, but whatever you do GET A 4506. I like my 5906 and I like my 4006 but I LOVE my 4506. THE VERY BEST semi auto I have ever owned.....and I've owned a bunch since 1977. And don't wait too long, the word is out, these are fantastic guns.

Sell it and move on, no big deal. Sounds like you have already come to your conclusion. I sell to try something else out fairly often. If you miss it buy another, there are many out there. Life is too short to limit yourself, unless your married.

You can't know this, but when you bought your first 3rd Gen you were initiated into the society of Legacy Smith Semiautos.
Its a secret order which has been around since the 1950s. Founded after WWI to fight handgun mediocrity ,our order has prided ourselves on accuracy and firearms refinement.
Our order is also a lifetime commitment. Sell a 5906 , and you'll be disbarred ...and bad things happen to people who do that. Lead shoes, rides in the trunks of Lincolns, capiche?
