Default Supergun II

Hi,
do you remember the famous Supergun II (.45 ACP) used by Tom Campbell? I shot the pictures at the 1985 IPSC European Championships.

Enjoy!

Very interesting. Thanks for sharing the pictures!

I've heard metion of this pistol several times over the years but never seen it.

Looks like a 645 with a 4506 slide on it, SA and of course predated both the 645 and 4506.

I wonder what became of the Supergun? Grinder?

I remember reading about them. They took a M52 split in lengthwise.
Then welded a piece between the sides to make it wider. So it was a
M52 converted to 45APC. Don't remember where I read that. Think
they made two of them.

Great pictures! That pistol was the beginning of some great .45's!

Does anyone know anything about his magazine carriers? I've never seen them with the top end on top, they usually are carried upside down.

Smile A 645 blast from the past

I just traded into this old piece of retro coolness. A 645, and while doing some net surfing came across this old thread.

In all its glory:
