I am completely new to S&W. I know that they are revered. I got what I think is a great deal on a low count, two year old, 1911 (face to face in my home town).
It had all the normal stuff except for the wrench. Called S&W and asked, "How do I get one?" The guy said, "Give me your address and I'll send you one, no charge."
Now that is customer service!!!
Question: Does the S&W warrenty cover the gun or the first owner of the gun? I mean I love the thing, but if it were to die will S&W fix it at no charge (like a Taurus)?
Thanks, Ed
