Are any available for the Bodyguard 380 yet? If you found some can you post a link. Thanks much.

I've been keeping close track of all the BG380 information flowing around the web and haven't seen any night sights yet. Be patient. Right now everyone is busy getting the first models to shoot okay and developing holsters that fit. The BG is a very new gun and it will be awhile before the aftermarket kicks in. Someone might ask why you need night sights when you have a laser.

Locoweed, I've practiced in low light shooting with it and just prefer a front post sight picture. With my other handguns(that have night sights) I know exactly where the bullet will hit because I'm confident in the gun and from practice. At this point in time, I just don't trust the laser yet. Maybe with more practice it will come.

Haven't heard of any nightsights either. But some owners have taken to painting the front site with high visibility paint of some sort. Some using day-glo green, some white nail polish or enamel, etc.
Maybe try to find a bright green/orange sticker that would be removeable if so desired.

Thanks Pittshooter, I painted it white last week and that did help.

Since the BG380 is hardly a long range firearm, the laser should do the trick.

I'm seeing a lot of places listing these sights but nobody has them in stock. After shooting at a dark target in a dim range I can definitely see the need for them.

Has anyone tried the night sights linked above? I just want to make sure they fit before ordering.
Thanks!

Night Sights for the Bodyguard
The sights Listed by Sgt Rock from Kahr will not work. The rear sight dove tail isn't even as wide as the top of the pistol notch. The front sight is too wide for it.
Not sure about the XS sights. I for one didn't like the design of them. Good idea, but I would be hesitant to change the "reflex" of what my sight picture would look if in a rush. Now, granted, the .380 would be best at a short distance and aiming wouldn't be a top priority.
Hopefully Smith and Wesson will come up with something on their own. Until then, I might be willing to try enamel or a phosphorescent paint.

I have talked to Kahr and I believe they will be changing their website search.

I had the XS Sights installed on my Bodyguard 380. There not bad at all, allows for faster target acquisition. I think there worth having, and just as an FYI the company does offer LE and Military discount.

Very helpful thread guys. I am also looking for new sights for mine. I love the gun but really wish I could get a 3 dot tritium night sights for it to replace the OEM ones. I'm having a heck of a time finding anything other that the XS version.
*************************************************************************
Quick update . . . I have emailed several sight vendors about availability of after market sights for the BG. I did receive an email back from Novak Sights saying that they were working on some and they should be available this summer.
If I hear from any of the other companies I'll post.

Another update. I contacted Trijicon Sights and they told me
"Thank you for your interest in Trijicon products. We do not offer the Night Sights for your application and there are no plans to produce them however please keep checking because we are always adding new items. We recommend trying to contact XS sights for the Bodyguard 380."
So . . . nothing from them either.

jbex, How do you like the XS Sights now that you've had them for a while? And did you install them yourself or have a smith do it?
Personally, while I like the InSight, engaging it is not as easy as I'd like. Particularly, if I should ever need it in an instant. Adjusting it was fairly easy, but it is a little touchy. I'm just hoping that it stays put with continued carry.
Has anyone found any other night sights available? Reviews would be appreciated!

I searched all sights, but no one has made them. So I tried using "Glow-On" paint. It is a phosphorescent paint. If it is left in any type of light the paint will glow in the dark. It seems to last about an hour or so before you have to recharge it with light again.
Not the best solution, but one that works until someone comes out with something better.

It is now the summer of 2015 and I can tell you the XS sights are all you are going to find for the 380 BG M&P from S&W. I spoke with S&W today and XS is what they recommend. They said the Trijicon is too wide. I am wanting the Trijicon HD. I used Site-Glo paint; it has to cure for 7 days and even then I am not so sure it won't come off in the holster.

BG 380 Night Sights
I found the sights on the BG 380 to be hard to acquire even in a reasonably lit range environment. I do not want to rely on the laser. When I first got the gun the batteries died and I was unable to remove the bolt that held it into the gun. Shipped it back to S&W and they changed it out and sent me a new allen wrench. I used white primer on the front sight and then 2 coats of the florescent pink spray paint used on asphalt to mark pipes and wire routes. I sprayed them both into a small plastic cup and applied both primer and paint separately with a flat toothpick. The front sight now stands out like a strobe light even in low light conditions. The white primer really boosts the reflectivity of the pink florescent paint. I also used the white primer and a very small artist's brush to outline the rear sight notch. Sight acquisition is now second nature and the gun shoots to point of aim using a Hornaday self defense load, and slightly below with FMJ range ammo at 10 to 15 yards. I have also used the artist's brush to put a small dot of the pink paint in the center of the front white dot sight on my Glock 26 and outlined the gas tube insert of the front sight of the Trijicon night sights on my S&W 6946. It really helps front sight acquisition on both guns.

Anyone tried the Williams Fire Sights?
I recently came across these on-line. Seems too good to be true at under $50. They are not night sights but seem like they may be far better than paint. Anyone have experience with them?
