Default CS9D

Shot my new to me CS9D today and had a blast with it, what a nice shooting gun. Does anyone know about slide release hang ups with certain ammo?

The "slide release" method of chambering a cartridge isn't very reliable with short barreled autos. I recommend always using the overhand method, to get the full potential of the recoil spring.

The only CS auto I'd have if I had one. Can you share some pics?

KurtC, I think he's wondering if certain brands cause the slide lock lever to lock prior to the mag being empty.

to make mine as flat as it can be.....I trimmed the slide lock lever. mine is slide rack only as I dont want to miss the lever in a stressful situation. To answer ammo question and not sure 9mil has this issue...but the fatter/wider slugs like that is 45acp have a tendancy to kiss the lug on the slide stop. I dont have any issues with mine and I run a mix of old hydrashocks and some 124 G/Ds which are cone or tapered slugs.
