Default 3904 Finish Question

As far as I have read and seen, the 3904 should be a blued slide with a black alloy frame. Has anyone ever seen a 3904 with a stainless slide and a satin alloy frame? I saw one, but do not know if I am seeing a unicorn.

Seems like there was a thread some time ago discussing 3904 pistols in that configuration made for the Gwinnett Co GA PD.

Seems like it would be a "3903", then, if S&W following their own naming conventions.

You may have seen a 3913. It has a stainless slide and a alloy frame. I have one of these I use for concealed carry and it does a great job.

It is in fact a Gwinnett County (GA) PD pistol. I will do more research on this.
