Default 4516 issues, questions

I may pick up a 4516, no dash. I read a bunch here about issues with the no dash models in regards to mags and slide inertia (?). For those that have them and had issues, are they issues that are correctable or is that model a lost cause?

Thanks

Use the search function on the top line of the page.Type 4516 in the search forums box. It seems that most people are very happy with the 4516 no matter what dash number. Also check some of the latest 4516 threads.

I did. I never found anything in regards to a "fix" for troublesome pistols. Seemed they would just get sold off which left me curious to see if anyone that had issues was able to resolve them. I will likely buy it if all the pieces fall into place.

Thanks

I was able to order a new set of recoil springs this week from S&W for a 4516 no dash, but I just wanted to have a spare set on hand. Most problems are spring or mag related.I don't think that the gun itself is flawed. My 4516 will feed anything.
